Preservation Robot

This project is called “The Preservation Robot” containing pictures of indigenous and unseen tribe captured by Jimmy Nelson. For this project I contributed to the BGM and sounddesign of the website. I also added some of the iterations and early prototypes for a process insight.

7up.nl

For this project 7up asked us to create a new fresh image for their website and additional new flavours. I worked on the ux, motion and created the 7up.nl music and sounddesign.

Porsche Macan 2019 project

For Porsche USA, Superhero Cheesecake was asked to do the campaign.
Resulting in a very nice AR experience for users to try out possible styles and colors augmented of the new Porsche Macan.

To promote the new AR campaign a social campaign was launched coinciding some HQ renders of the new Macan. These needed to be provided with the car engine sounds and backgroundmusic.

Based on very limited recordings of the car, I tried to create a dynamic as possible and raw sounding true Porsche engine accompanied with some music to set the pace and feel of the video.

During this process we went through various stages. Displayed from top to bottom is the final result followed by some of the process work.

For the final version that was used the focus was on energetic and dynamic structure in the music and sounddesign.

Together with the motion designer I was working with we came up with the concept, look and feel for idents. Based on guidelines, work and company ethics we also found that a more playful approach could also suit some of the clientele they work for.

For this social video, the sound was edited, the music rearranged and voice overs were re-iterared and remastered.

Hawaiian Airlines

For an Hawaiian Airlines campaign, a interactive web app was made to discover the treasures that Hawaii has to offer.

The experience is supported by subtle sounds of nature matching the enviroments.

The end result was mainly focussed on supporting the experience lightly with some interaction feedback and surrounding ambiance.

Peugeot 108: Follow Your Intuition

For this project we focussed on a web based interactive musical journey.
I worked on various iterations of the music, once we found one the agency and the client liked. We recouped it into smaller elements, during the musical journey, users have to click, tap or press key to match melodies and rhythms.

Sadly I don’t have al required elements to rebuild this video with the needed individual layers. At the time, I wasn’t very thorough in making screen grabs.

I had a big AV role in this project contributing to both the sounddesign and motion design of the project. Above preview is the sfx of the intro video for the campaign website without the backing music.

Peugeot 208: Catch the Dragon

Catch the dragon is a WebGL based game that was part of the campaign for the new Peugeot 208. The game was made along with a 360 shoot and VR-installation that I also contributed to. For the game I did the SFX and music.

Sadly, there’s no properly registered screen recording with background music, but it was really nice, I’m almost certain this would’ve been your favourite composition. But I guess we will never find out :’-(

To create a display case of all the animated and 3D logo identities we worked together on an edit to put them on display.
For this project we went in two directions, this is version B with a steady uptempo fast paced edit and coinciding music. Which was used in the final promotion.

Personally, this version had my preference, because the structure is more dynamic changing in tempo and edit flow. This also helps retaining the viewers attention. And I have secret love for implementing beats and mixing up half time and double time tempos.
